असम के नामेरी टाइगर रिजर्व में बाघ संरक्षण के क्षेत्र में बड़ी सफलता मिली है। वर्ष 2022 में जहां इस रिजर्व में केवल तीन बाघ थे, वहीं 2025 के अंत तक उनकी संख्या बढ़कर 12 हो गई है। महज तीन वर्षों में बाघों की संख्या में चार गुना वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है, जिसकी पुष्टि भारतीय वन्यजीव संस्थान (डब्ल्यूआईआई) ने भी की है।
