Tehran is reviewing the US response to its latest proposal, Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said, Nour News reports.

“Based on the initial text of the Iranian resolution, which included 14 points, the exchange of messages took place several times,” Baghaei said.

“We have received the views of the American side and are studying them,” he added.

Washington and Tehran are exchanging messages through Pakistan on the wording of the proposed document on the ceasefire, Nour News noted.

Earlier, Tasnim News Agency, citing an informed source, reported that the US had transmitted—through Pakistan—a response to Iran’s earlier proposals.

Tehran is reviewing the text, but the response is not yet ready, the news agency's interlocutor noted.
