According to the Kremlin, the situation around Armenia is aimed at harming integration organizations that also involve Russia.
“Armenia’s political and foreign economic fluctuations clearly show how supporters of the ‘rules-based order’ are persistently trying to strike at integration structures with Russia’s participation,” said Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, in his address at the Primakov Readings international forum.
Also, Ushakov stated that the West is trying to create the illusion that it is possible to revise the history and geographical scope of peoples who have lived side by side and helped each other for centuries.
“The Ukrainian crisis clearly shows what kind of tragedy such a policy can lead to,” added the aide to the Russian president.
