Armenia Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan and President and CEO of the Washington, D.C.-based Museum of the Bible, Carlos Campo, signed a letter of intent on cooperation in Armenian Christian heritage and museums.

The letter of intent establishes institutional cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia and the Museum of the Bible, the main goals of which are the promotion of Armenian Christian heritage, including the establishment of a permanent exhibition of Armenian Christian heritage at the Museum of the Bible.

In addition, the letter of intent envisages the launch of scientific research, educational, experience exchange, and several other joint programs.

In her remarks, Minister Zhanna Andreasyan stressed the importance of cooperation in terms of promoting Christian heritage. She noted that Armenia attaches great importance to the exchange of experience in museum management, digitization, conservation and educational programs, especially for young specialists and researchers. Also, Andreasyan emphasized the readiness of the Armenian government to deepen cooperation, also involving Armenian museums.

President and CEO of the Museum of the Bible, Carlos Campo, also expressed gratitude for the cooperation, and noted that the signing of this letter of intent will open up wide opportunities for cooperation in various fields, as well as creating a connection between museum experts and researchers.
