In recent days, the on-air and digital infrastructures of the Public Television of Armenia have been subjected to a large-scale cyberattack, the Public Television informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The target of the attack was to interfere with the broadcasts of the European Political Community events, after which attempts were made to disrupt the normal broadcasting of the Public Television channels.

Thanks to the measures taken, it was possible to prevent disruptions, and the attempted cyberattack did not have any significant impact.

Law enforcement agencies are dealing with the incident.
