During the investigation of the criminal proceedings initiated in connection with a group of supporters of the Strong Armenia bloc in the Norashen and Metsavan settlements of Lori Province on the grounds of obstructing the normal course of election campaign by the ruling Civil Contract party on May 16, public criminal prosecution was initiated against 10 people, 6 of whom were arrested, and 4 were placed under house arrest. This was reported by Kima Avdalyan, the press secretary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

Investigation is being conducted to provide a legal assessment of the actions by several other persons involved in the crime, Avdalyan added.
