झारखंड में JPSC-JSSC परीक्षाओं में कथित गड़बड़ी और पारदर्शिता की मांग को लेकर देवेंद्र नाथ महतो रांची में अनिश्चितकालीन भूख हड़ताल पर बैठे हैं. समर्थक उन्हें अहिंसक सत्याग्रह के कारण ‘झारखंड का सोनम वांगचुक’ कह रहे हैं.
