पेट्रोलियम मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि देश में पेट्रोल, डीजल और एलपीजी की आपूर्ति पूरी तरह सामान्य है। सभी रिफाइनरियां पूरी क्षमता से काम कर रही हैं और कच्चे तेल का पर्याप्त भंडार मौजूद है। कुछ पेट्रोल पंपों पर बिक्री बढ़ी है, क्योंकि औद्योगिक और व्यावसायिक उपभोक्ता भी वहीं से ईंधन खरीद रहे हैं।
