Iran, during negotiations with the US, conveyed through mediators that no agreement will be reached between the countries without the initial release of a certain part of Iran's frozen assets, an informed source said, reports Tasnim News Agency.

According to the source, Iran has made it clear that no agreement will be reached with the US without the release of a certain part of its frozen assets in the very first phase and a clear mechanism for the guaranteed release of all frozen assets in the future.

The source noted that this issue has been brought to the attention of the Pakistani mediator and a number of countries in the region participating in the talks.

The interlocutor of Tasnim News Agency emphasized that at present, the Americans continue to obstruct the implementation of some points of the agreement, including the issue of the release of Iran's frozen assets.
