The Iranian army, thanks to its high operational readiness, has clearly demonstrated to the whole world the defense power and prestige of the Islamic Republic. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated this during a meeting with Abdolrahim Mousavi, commander-in-chief of the Iranian army, IRNA reports.

"National unity and the strength of the armed forces are the most important pillar of our country's security. The Iranian government will engage all available resources and potential for comprehensive support and strengthening of the armed forces," Pezeshkian said.

In turn, the commander-in-chief of the army assured Iran's leadership that the country’s troops are at maximum combat readiness and are capable of repelling any external challenge.

"The army of the Islamic Republic of Iran is fully prepared to give a decisive, crushing, and proper response to any threat, aggression, or adventurist action against our country. The army personnel are ready to defend the security, independence, honor, and territorial integrity of the state with all their strength and self-sacrifice, as well as to protect our great people," said the commander-in-chief of the Iranian army.
