The participants in the talks in Burgenstock, Switzerland, have decided to create a special mechanism that will ensure the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said.
A decision was made to create a mechanism that will guarantee the safe navigation of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, Baghaei said, Tasnim News Agency reports.
He noted that, according to Tehran's position, the main prerequisite for moving to the development of a final agreement is the cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
As per Baghaei, the Iranian delegation demands strict fulfillment of the obligations assumed, which also concerns the observance of the ceasefire by Israel.
