The weaker Armenia is, the greater the risk of war. Armenia's second president and prime ministerial candidate of the "Armenia" bloc, Robert Kocharyan, expressed such a view while speaking with the media in Aparan city.

Commenting on PM Nikol Pashinyan's claims that the probability of war with Azerbaijan would increase if he is not re-elected, Kocharyan noted that it is difficult to interpret the words of a person in a poor mental state.

"How many wars have I caused [when I was in office], and how many [have] Nikol Pashinyan [caused]? We are only talking about the right of return of the [Armenian] people of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)], nothing more. This is enshrined in our program and is their inalienable right," Kocharyan said, adding that the one who instigates and causes wars is Pashinyan himself, who weakens Armenia with every step he takes.

“The weaker Armenia is, the greater the possibility of war,” Kocharyan said, noting that Pashinyan’s efforts are deepening the internal division, worsening Armenia’s relations with its military-political ally Russia, and weakening the Armenian army.

“Taking the hammer in [his] hand, he [i.e. Pashinyan] destroys everything. I see this, and I am trying to warn the people,” Robert Kocharyan added.
