Members of the I am Against Everyone—also known as Against All—party of Armenia have submitted a record number of withdrawals: 50 out of 87 MP candidates on the party’s electoral list—for the upcoming National Assembly (NA) elections—have withdrawn their candidacies. This information was confirmed by the party’s prime ministerial candidate, Nina Karapetyants, in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“We were preparing for this phase, because our goal is not to come to power, but to be represented in the NA. More people may come out, more people will come out in the process. The last numbers [on the electoral list] have withdrawn themselves,” Karapetyants said.

The NA elections will be held on June 7. Two blocs and 17 parties are participating in the elections.
