The I am Against Everyone—also known as Against All—party of Armenia, whose 50 MP candidates have withdrawn from the party’s electoral list for the parliamentary election on June 7, announced that 12 more candidates will withdraw from the list.

"Dear citizens, as you know, we had announced that in case of our success, we will form a 100-day government [in Armenia], implement the three changes we promised, and organize early elections. And in case of impossibility of doing that, we are not going to work for five years as opposition MPs with the votes of the people against everyone and we will give up our [parliamentary] mandates.

Considering that the process of giving up a large number of mandates is a long process in legal terms, we have found a legal mechanism to guarantee this in advance.

After legal clarifications with the CEC [i.e. the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia], 50 members of our [electoral] list have withdrawn [from the list] and 12 more will come out of the list. As a result, we will have 25 [MP] candidates on the list, guaranteeing that if necessary, we will be able to implement both our planned changes and the plan of resigning from the [parliamentary] mandates without long delays, within the timeframes promised to you," the I am Against Everyone party noted in a statement.
